Surgery to remove Bichat fat found in the cheeks. The removal is done intraorally (inside the mouth). This helps improve the appearance of the face by giving a little depth to the cheek area to highlight the cheekbones and jaw (bone areas). It is an outpatient procedure that is done with intravenous sedation and recovery is one week.
