The doctor was born and raised in the town of Bayamón, Puerto Rico. From a very young age, she discovered her passion for medicine and decided to pursue academic preparation to obtain her doctorate. Her goal has always been to help patients achieve better health and feel better about themselves.

In her academic preparation, she studied a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She completed her doctorate at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, where she earned Magna Cum Laude honors. She did her internship at Montefiore University Hospital in the state of New York and her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. She later decided to pursue a subspecialty in Facial Cosmetic Surgery with Dr. John E. Griffin at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi. After completing 15 years of study, the doctor decided to return to her home country, Puerto Rico, to start her practice. The doctor is Board-certified and has her licenses up to date in Puerto Rico. She is a member of the American Association of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
