Dra. Cristina Ortiz Díaz
She was born and raised in the town of Bayamón, Puerto Rico. From a very young age, she discovered her passion for medicine and decided to pursue academic preparation to obtain her doctorate. Her goal has always been to help patients achieve better health and feel better about themselves.
In her academic preparation, she studied a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She completed her doctorate at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus, where she earned Magna Cum Laude honors. She did her internship at Montefiore University Hospital in the state of New York and her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. She later decided to pursue a subspecialty in Facial Cosmetic Surgery with Dr. John E. Griffin at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi. After completing 15 years of study, the doctor decided to return to her home country, Puerto Rico, to start her practice. The doctor is Board-certified and has her licenses up to date in Puerto Rico. She is a member of the American Association of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
During her years of practice, the doctor saw the need to help patients achieve better facial skin in preparation for surgery and to ensure optimal healing. The doctor decided to create her own line of facial products with the purpose of preparing the skin before and after cosmetic procedures, helping patients achieve the best results.
Cutis Facial Cosmetic Surgery aims to help patients improve their facial appearance with natural results, so they can feel better about themselves. The doctor is deeply passionate about cosmetic surgery and dedicates significant time to her patients in their journey to enhance their facial appearance. The doctor performs minimally invasive procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, and AquaGold facial treatments. She also performs eyelid surgery, neck liposuction, facelifts and neck lifts, earlobe corrections, buccal fat removal, and chin implants. Cutis was born out of a desire to honor our father, Cuthberto, whom we affectionately called "Cuti." Inspired by my twin sister, we decided to give this name to our corporation, combining her legacy with our passion for facial cosmetic surgery. With a subspecialty in Facial Cosmetic Surgery and board certified, I am committed to offering procedures that enhance the natural beauty of our patients, helping them feel confident and satisfied with their appearance. In addition to our surgical services, at Cutis we have developed an exclusive line of facial care products, specifically designed to complement and prolong the results of our treatments.
